Summer Bucket List Linky!

Today I'm linking up with my pal Teri for her Summer Bucket List Linky!

Now even though summer feels like forever away, I'm excited to be talking about what I have planned this upcoming break!

1. Well.... I want to book my fiance's and I honeymoon and of course our dream honeymoon would be...well Paris!  I saw this picture and I want to go just to take a picture like this.  It's beautiful.

2.  The next thing on my list is nothing compared to my first to do but it is something I was inspired to create.  I saw this on Etsy.  Although it's so darn cute, I feel I can recreate this on my own and it make it original!  I *hope* my new little ones will love it. =)

3. Lately, I've been on a storage kick.  I want to get more organized than last year.  Even though each year, I surprise myself more and more and get very organized!  In order for me to be more put together, I want to order these boxes.  I need these to put in my cubbies and closets to keep everything looking neat and proper.

4.I am excited to make this.  I'm having my engagement party in July and want to make some refreshing and delicious Sangria to get everyone to smile. I got the recipe from Crafting Mom=)

5.  I saw this recently and am dying to get it!  I got it Here at Organizement. It's a great blog on staying organized and keeping neat.

This is actually called "storage doohicky" which is storage for your trash bags or bags you get from the grocery store.  This would be absolutely perfect for my border rolls.  Right now I have them in my closet, but everytime I go in there I either push it or step on it.  By the time I need it, it's already dented and wrinkly which is not cute looking!  This would keep it from getting lost or abused in my class.

What do you have on your bucket list for the summer?

Have a "Sun"sational Summer! - Tag Freebie!

So some of you may already be on summer break, unfortunately we still have a ways to go!  In the meantime, here's a freebie to make you feel like summer is so close you can almost taste it!

I bought this for my little ones a while ago from RI Novelty.  If you haven't visited that website, you must!  They have so many different little gadgets for your sweethearts and soooooo cheap! You will be in heaven!

Anywho, I picked up these adorable sunglasses.

It came in all different colors which is great and so fun!

So I decided to turn that into this with a little help from the Dollar Tree

( used a small dot of sticky tack to the back of the glasses to stick.)

Didn't it come out so cute?  I can't wait to give them to my kiddies!

I am giving these tags for FREE at my TpT

I also added the longer cards in different colors just to have variety!

Grab this now, your kiddies will love it as an end of year gift. =)

Here are the smaller tags if you decide to give them in a gift bag.

This tag would go great with my End of Year Summer Pack which is what inspired me to get my little ones these cute glasses to begin with.

=)

Let me know what you think if you grab this!

Happy Rainy Thursday

Organizing Your Class & Incentives!

So we have 29 days left of school.  Is it too early to start cleaning up? LoL Well I usually clean up early because the end of year can get hectic with paperwork and filing.  I like to clean up early just to make sure I get everything done on time and don't drive myself crazy at the end of the year.

I first start with my posters.  Here's what it looked like with all the posters finally down.
I usually throw my posters in my closet and hope they stay in place for when I come back from the summer.  Since they are laminated they usually get all clumpy from being in a closet the entire hot and sweaty summer.  So I went on a hunt!  I checked out my latest obsession Really Good Stuff to see what kind of storage they had up their sleeves.

And I was right, they did!

No that's not me if your wondering.  But I love this idea of holding the posters nice and organized.

So yes, obviously I had to order it!

Okay so I couldn't help it.  This is me!

LoL

If you notice the model and I have the same *Blending Posters* in the bag!

It really is great.  It's so easy and simple.

If you think this is something you totally need, click HERE to take you there to grab.  It's only $14.99 and totally worth the money.

Moving on.

My students are hyper and I mean really HYPER.  We still have 29 days left and they are so excited for summer.  It's hard to stomp on their parade and let them know we still have work to get done.

So when I ordered the organizer for posters, I also bought these cute rewards for my little ones.  It's so cute!
These are bracelets that come with different praising quotes to let your little ones know they have done a great job.  What I love about them is that they are Scratch and Sniffs!  I usually don't go for those smelly pencils or scratch stickers because the smell is so strong. The smell on these is like heaven!  Some of them smell like cake.  Ugh it makes me hungry!
Isn't it too cute?  I love them.  I showed my little ones today and they were so excited to work for it!

I ordered 2 packs.  In a pack comes 90 loops!  Guess what!  They are on clearance for $2.99 originally $7.99.  If you want to grab these quick before they sell out, click HERE to take you to there.

I hope the looks calm my little ones down a bit.

What are you doing for rewards and incentives with your little ones this time of year?

Classroom Updates!

Hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day yesterday!  It was such a great day in Jersey.  I had a lovely bbq with my family and ate so much!!  It was amazzzzing.

I originally wanted to post about my newest Father's Day Craft but that will have to wait...because I finally received what I ordered from Really Good Stuff!  I ordered it a while ago and was concerned as to why it took so long to come.  But yes it finally came and I couldn't be more excited to set it up!

Remember my old library bookcase?  You know ...the invisible one?

LoL ... yes that one!

Well I recently ordered this from Really Good Stuff.  To get more info you can check it out by clicking HERE.  It was just $24.99 so I thought it was worth it.

I finally got it!  After begging asking the custodian nicely to help put it together, it's finally ready to be displayed!

Sorry I made it so big, just wanted to you see how fabulous it is.

Isn't it amazing?!?!?

I just love it.  And so did my little ones.  They said it looks much neater.

Also I ordered a few transparent folders that I was ecstatic to get because I have been trying to use for organizing so I can't wait to put them to use!  Take a look at what they look like.

I love that they are different colors.  It keeps it fun.

Keep a look out on how I use them to organize this week.  I have so many ideas on what to do but nothing certain.  How would you use these folders to organize?  I'd love to hear your suggestions.

=)

Stay tuned this week so I can show you my latest Father's Day Craft!!

May Currently!!

It's May??? Omg April flew by!  Figures... it was my birthday month!  I'm soooooo ready for summer and now is the time when it drags and feel like it's never going to end.  I love my little ones this year but not I just have an itch to take a break!

I'm linking up with Farley for her infamous Currently

Here it is!

Okay sooo I finally gave my Maid's of Honor's jobs for our Engagement party in July.  It's seriously just around the corner!  I am trying to do a casual BBQ at my house with just the wedding party and very close friends!    So there's a lot to do until then....

1. Tan
2. Beach
3. Tan

I don't know why but I feel my best when I'm tan.  I look 10x thinner and I don't even need make up!  It could just be me thinking I'm fabulous but still. =)

My bucket list... Sangria!!

Who doesn't like that?

I also have so many visions going up above my head and I need to get them done!

Happy Thursday!

Center Staples!

Happy Wednesday!! =)
 It's finally Mayyyyyyyyy!!

I counted today and we have 36 days until school's out!

Woot Woot!

Recently, I was asked to join a focus group in the city for Scholastic- Teacher Express .  As a gift from the focus group, I was able to choose a few things I would love to have in my class.  So I was searching and searching and I came across these two awesome books.

So I'm about to buy it and I saw that it was from a bloggy gal!!  The author of these awesome books is the fab Erica Bohrer!  It was too funny I chose her books of all the other ones there was to pick. She definitely knows her stuff!

I got these about a month ago and since then they have been a staple for my centers.  These are awesome reproducible worksheets that enforce spelling, sounding out, writing and reading comprehension.

My little ones love the Spelling Centers now because of these printables!  It enforces sight words through writing, tracing and coloring... PERFECT!

The Reading Respongse sheets focus on asking questions about a story you have read in your class, home or with a friend.  These are used in my Reading Centers.  We do 2 centers a day.  One group re-reads the story from last week and when they move to the next center it is one of Erica's reading response worksheets.  It's such a fun way to get the little ones thinking about the story they just read.  Here are just some snap shots on the Spelling printables

My little ones really love writing and then coloring the pictures.

Take a peek at the Reading response printables.

The little ones the worksheet on the left.  You re-read the story of the week. I have them do it with a partner just for fun and an extra set of eyes.  Every time they catch a word on the Sight Word Quilt, they color the box.  Such a great of reinforcing sight words.

The Reading Response printables are full of fun worksheets to recap a story in different ways.  On the left one of my sweet girls wrote down the title, author and her favorite characters in the story.

I like to use the Reading Response printables on Thurdays for homework.  After reading the story of the week for 3 days, I think the Reading printables are a great to just work on comprehension, practice their writing and have the students jot down their thoughts about their opinion on the story.

If your interested in these books you can grab the Super Spelling Workbook by clicking HERE or the Reading Response by clicking HERE

Your little ones will love this!!
